My Favorite Writing Prompts

 Hey Guys, here are some of my favorite prompts hope you enjoy!!

  • Everyone has a guardian angel except you, you have a guardian demon. He deals with things in a much more violent fashion, but much more effective

  • Every person on Earth is born with two tattoos on your body,  one matches your soulmate, and one matches your worst enemy. However most people don’t know which is which. You do however because they are the same.

  • When people are born they have a streak of the same hair your soulmate has. (Your streak is blue that floats in the air and no matter what you do you can’t get it to lay flat)

  • After gaining the ability to see everyone’s red strings of fate tying soulmates to each other , you realize your extends past the sky. 

  • There is this beautiful statue of a person in the middle of a large city, and the rumor surrounding the statute is that when they touch hands with their soulmate, they will become human. Naturally it becomes a perfect photo and video opportunity to pose while holding its hand. One cute selfie attempt results in a empty statute podium and you just barely catching a very confused person in your arms

  • Your parents have always been protective of you as long as you could remember.The entire house was padded even when you grew out of your toddler years. You were home schooled and someone was always hovering to make sure you don’t trip or hurt yourself. You thought  it was them being irrationally overprotective until one winter day, your hands were so dry your skin broke. A drop of blood fell on the ground and almost instantly, red flowers bloomed where it landed. 

  • You finally build up enough courage to talk to that cute someone you see everyday on the bus. Their face turns dark as they respond “ You shouldn’t be able to see me”

  • One day, time just suddenly stops a short moment for you. You tried to mess around, but after the 246th time it happens, you start to realize that your powers aren't stopping time , but being able to move in time frozen by someone else.

  • During a bank robbery you’re surprised when the criminals seem to recognize you and retreat in fear. Only later do you learn that your high school sweetheart now runs a global crime syndicate and has placed you on “a no harm” list, you decide to pay them a visit after all these years. 

  • You have the ability to freeze time. When you do everyone freezes as well. One day, you freeze time, and out the window you see a girl moving around and then she sees you. 

  • You live in a city where crime runs rampant. One day you save a guys life, not knowing he is the crime lord’s son. You have just joined the no harm list.

Here is Chapter 2: It had been two weeks since school had started and I never saw Celeste except for in the morning and at night for family dinner. From what I knew she was hanging out with her friends. All summer she had spent time with them. During the school year she usually focused more on work, but her hanging out time had only increased. It bugged me more than I thought it would. So I decided to confront her friends about it. I finally was able to catch one of her friends Krishna during study hallway.  “Hey Krishna,” I said walking up to her. She looked up and smiled. Krishna although she dressed with bright colors and somehow made it look cool. Though her clothes were rebellious she was a sweet girl. “Hey Valerie. The Flame Of Truth: Chapter 3

 Here is Chapter 3: The bright light woke me up. Celeste was not in the bed. I quickly made the bed and hurried to my room to get changed for my run. I found a pair of leggings, a t-shirt, my windbreaker and some tennis shoes. I grabbed my phone and earbuds from my desk and hurried downstairs. It was a usual Saturday morning. My parents were at work and Crystal and Ruby were eating some breakfast, but the unusual thing was Celeste was sitting at the kitchen table.  “Where are you heading?” she inquired looking at me.  “On my morning run,” I told her.  “Valerie goes on runs every morning,” Ruby informed Celeste. “She did it all summer,”  “Can I go with you?” Celeste suggested.  “Uh yeah sure,” I told her.
